Nancy Ortiz is a local born Puerto Rican. She is one of the Founders and Executive Director of the Hispanic Center of Hawaii. Vice-President of the United Puerto Rican Association of Hawaii, Inc. Centro Hispano de Hawaii continues to serve the community as a Non-Profit agency, committed to connecting those that need help with those who provide help, in their own language. The United Puerto Rican Association of Hawaii, Inc. (UPRAH) is the oldest & largest Hispanic organization in Hawaii – whose parent organizations date back to the early 1920s.
